This is the notice of the 2010 AGM which is to ocur on Sunday the 1st of August commencing at 02:20 PM. The Following Agenda will be followed:
Introduction
    President's Report
    Treasurer's Report
    Election of Group Officals

The following Committee position are up for election:
    President
    Vice President
    Treasurer
    Secretary
    Committee Member

Unless informed otherwise, it is assumed that people currently in these positions are automatically nominated for the currently held position. It is the right of any member that is finacial at the 30th of June 2010 to be nominated for any of the Committee positions. If no nominations are recieved, then the member currently holding the position is automatically elected to the position for the 2010/2011 Finacial year.
All nominations should be forwarded either by Email to mail@pakenhammodellers.com or handed to the Secretary before the AGM.

AMG Start time was 02:35 pm, Location was the Studio LinC Centre Pakenham.
Reports
Presidents report was delivered by Rob O'Connor, motion was raised to accept report, seconded by Barry McCluteon, accepted by the membership.
Treasurers report was delivered by Graham Mahoney, motion was again raised to accept report, seconded by John Gloz, accepted by the membership.
Thank you Rob and Graham.
Election of officials
Due to the fact that no nominations have been received in the period of a month before the AGM, Rob O'Connor raised the motion that the committee members continue in the same positions that they held for the 2009/2010 period. This was seconded by Richard Simme and passed unanimously by the membership. So the 2010/2011 Committee will be the following:
President: Rob O'Connor
    Vice President: Richard Simme
    Treasurer: Graham Mahoney
    Secretary: Vin Wragg
    Committee Member: Shane Egan

General Business

Rob O'Connor will investigate the possibility of a workshop display to be done at a shopping center like Hertiage Springs on a Saturday morning. The purpose of this display will be to raise interest in Scale Modelling in the Pakenham area.

Rob O'Connor will also investigate the possibility of advertising the Groups existence though local and electronic media. Rob mentioned Channel 31 and local newspapers.

Model Expo Display 2011:
Decision was made by the membership to adopt the Micro Displays concept for the Group Display for Model Expo 2011. The sub themes will be as follows:
Milne Bay -It's part in the Battle for Australia
Reconnaissance - Land, Sea and Air
Sea Change - machines that were designed for Maritime operations that ended up being used for land based operations or designed for land based operations being used in the maritime roles.
Smaller displays by Shane Egan will be used to "fill the gaps" between the display stands.
